Welcome to Lexic Quest! These terms set out the rules for using our website (lexic.quest). By playing, you agree to them.

1. Licence to use the game

Lexic Quest grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited licence to access and play the game for personal, non-commercial use. You may not use Lexic Quest for commercial purposes without our written permission.

2. Game rules and conduct

• Don't create or share puzzles, names or other content that is offensive, inappropriate or illegal.
• We may remove any content, including player names and puzzles, that breaks these rules.
• Don't use bots or other automated methods to play, solve puzzles or affect leaderboards.

3. Content you create

When you publish a puzzle you let us display it on Lexic Quest and share it with other players. Please only submit puzzles you made yourself.

4. Intellectual property

The game design, official puzzles, text, images and software are owned by Lexic Quest and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission.

5. Ads, support and Legend Quests

Lexic Quest is free to play and supported by ads and by donations through Buy Me a Coffee. We don't sell user data.

6. Changes to the game

We may change, suspend or discontinue the game at any time without notice, and aren't liable for any loss of data or progress as a result.

7. Limitation of liability

Lexic Quest is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the game will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent allowed by law, Lexic Quest isn't liable for damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the game.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of the United Kingdom.
